Christmas 2023

A strange year, probably one of the strangest in world events in my lifetime. Atrocities in the middle east, war continuing in Ukraine and America tearing itself apart. Inflation is hitting many people in different parts of the world, and there does not seem much to be cheerful about let alone wishing everyone a "Happy Christmas"

That aside I believe we must be optimistic, generally things work out, sometimes later than we would like but humanity survives, hopefully learns lessons and gets better. The premise and the appeal of Star Trek especially the next generation series was that mankind had learned to put it's differences aside, and instead of chasing personal wealth and power to work on self improvemenmt, lets hope we can manage to fulfil that dream.

Meanwhile may your Christmas be the best it can be for you and yours and that 2024 brings a return to some degree of sanity in the world.
